Youth will engage in an interactive seminar where they are walked through a college application from start to finish. Youth will be able to ask questions as they arise.

Event 6: Tabling: AMA College Edition
Staff present a tabling opportunity to ask any and all college and career related questions that they may have. Format can be either at an independent table or in the central meeting space with additional staff asking/presenting questions

Event 5: College Essay Masterclass
Youth will engage in an active seminar where they learn the conventions of a good collegiate application essay, and the differences between an admission essay and a high school narrative essay. Youth will learn all of the prompts of the common app, and learn an outline structure that works best for either essay type.

Event 4: Money Smart; Planning for College with Money in Mind
Youth will learn savvy ways to save and create income while planning and prepping for their collegiate careers. They will get an overview on all of the collegiate and career options, and discuss ways to save on books, earn more funding, and learn niche tips for their postsecondary career success.

Youth will learn how to write an exemplary college admission/personal statement essay. Youth will active engage in workshop portion where they interactively create/watch a great college essay crafted.
Benevolent Whispers: Loving Your Brain Well
Participate in a DBT House activity and open discussion on how to love your brain well. Partnering with and presented by Benevolent Whispers
College Decision Matrix
Youth will get a short presentation explaining the college decision matrix and each category on the matrix. Youth will then engage in an active workshop where they complete their own college decision matrices
